The trip to the Lone Star State was nothing but hot and uncomfortable. Spent in a backseat of a Subaru, sipping on slurpees and looking at really nice houses that I decided I didn't want to live in. While it was nice to get away from work for a couple of days, I was happy to hear the flight attendant say "Welcome to Atlanta" when the plane landed back here in the good ole South. Texas is definitely different from the real South. For the most part, the people are arrogant and impolite. I did have really good ribs at one of the Rathbun's brothers restaurants though. And they were deeeeeelicious.
June will be a busy month for me. With registering for summer school, planning my wisdom teeth surgery, and managing to look for a place to live by the end of July, I'll have my hands full. Then the first of July marks the 21st time I've spun around on this planet. Life will get a little more interesting after that, I'm sure.
