It is the coldest day ever. And I am so happy.

I got the job at Starbucks! Today was my orientation and everything went very smoothly. I am impressed at how much I am able to retain nowadays when it comes to "first days" at jobs. I think after multi-tasking to the extreme at the salon, I have mastered the skill of neatly packing as much information into my head as possible. This week will be full of training and tastings. I want to make my sister semi-proud of me while I work at Starbucks. She has taught me most of what I know about coffee and even though I am working at a corporate coffee giant, I want to be able to show her that I am going to hopefully gain the same insight she has since working at Octane. So, Danielle... today I had my first Sumatra. And I liked it!

Reacquainting myself with "The Queen is Dead" and staying as warm as possible is on the agenda today. As well as eating as soon as I can muster up the courage to get out of this warm bed.
